On a traditionally-procured, fully-designed construction project, the contract documents for suppliers such as the main contractor are likely to include: Articles of agreement and conditions of contract, for completing as a simple contract (or as a deed). Working drawings. Bills of quantities.Construction drawing is the general term used for drawings that form part of the production information that is incorporated into tender documentation and then the contract documents for the construction works. The main purpose of construction drawings is to provide a graphic representation of what is to be built.Where as a footing is the bottom most part of a foundation, meaning, not all foundations are footings but all footings have foundations to be on.A footing is a foundation unit constructed in brick work, masonry or concrete under the base of a wall or a column for the purpose of distributing the load over a large area.Construction documents are compiled from design development documents. They include all the architectural drawings and specifications necessary to complete the project, and are the basis of the bid documents and the construction contract.Once the construction budget is approved, the Construction Phase begins.Pre-construction services can provide owners with a formal approach for developing cost, scope, and schedule to execute the construction on time and in control. The pre-construction, or design phase, is central to the success of the entire project.Post-Construction Stage. The objective of the Post-Construction Stage is to maintain building performance throughout the useful life of the facility. The active involvement of the Commissioning Agent and the Commissioning Team during initial facility operations is an integral aspect of the commissioning process.Construction drawings are sometimes referred to as working drawings. They are used by all involved in a project to work on the actual building of the design. These drawings provide all the information, both graphic and written, about the project.Standard drawing symbols are used to cross reference information.
